When preparing your condo to sell, start with the basics: cleanliness and minor repairs. These two items cany may times stand out to buyer’s more than flashy upgrades.

 

Tour the condo starting at the front entryway. Use a critical eye to note things like cobwebs, dull floors, or stains on the carpet. Do the windows sparkle? Do any bulbs need to be replaced? These are all minor issues that can be easily corrected that if not corrected, can cause some buyers to assume you don’t take care of your place. I hear it many times, “If they don’t take care of the little stuff, who knows what else they aren’t taking care of.”

 

Pay particular attention to the kitchen and the bathrooms. Wipe down all of the surfaces, and clean the cabinets to refresh them. Make sure all rooms are clutter free. Turn on the lamps and open the curtains to allow the light to show off the rooms.
