Stonebridge is a condo segment in the popular Wellsgate community of Oxford, Mississippi. It would appear that the builder of Stonebridge was building these condos for one that appreciates a quiet and relaxed lifestyle. These condos are beautifully designed and have great floor plans! A big feature that I find nice, is that the units are all on one level and they have a nice spacious floor plan with large windows to maximize natural sunlight.
With these condos being in Wellsgate, you as a condo owner would receive many benefits that include a community swimming pool and access to the lake! The builder decided to put in wider walls, with wider doors making it both quiet and convenient to navigate around your condo! The doors are level handle pulls instead of your classic door knobs. The window sills are lower and the yards are smaller and therefore lower maintenance. They pride themselves on the terrain of Stonebridge being manageable and not too steep. According to the Stonebridge brochure, they also “emphasize safety and maximize accessibility”. The showers in Stonebridge are tiled and are oversized, walk-in showers with a wider entry than most. The sink faucets are all single lever handles and I feel it’s worth mentioning the lighting under the counters. The appliances are stainless with a double door refrigerator and cooktop with front controls!
This neighborhood consists of 19 buildings. You will find that some of them are four-plexes while others are duplexes. Navigating Stonebridge is almost effortless and you may notice when driving by the units that the builder has put in either a brick fireplace, a tall wooden arbor, and in some instances, BOTH! It’s no wonder, with all of these amenities and features, that Stonebridge hasn’t had much trouble selling!
As this is being written, Stonebridge has almost sold out all of their units! The floor plans are very attractive and the ones that were sent to me are the following:
Model B:
When entering from the front of the Model B floor plans, you would walk straight into the living room and straight ahead of that would be the dining room. Depending on if the floor plan is mirrored or not in your unit, the kitchen will either be on the left or right with some good counter and cabinet space and a laundry room right off of the kitchen that separates the kitchen from the garage. When looking in the garage you will see stairs that will lead up to a space for storage. I have seen some buyers who had that space finished out by the builder and it turned out really nice. This is a split floor plan, so you will have the two guest bedrooms that share a bathroom on one side of the unit and the master bedroom on the other side of the unit. One factor I really enjoy about Stonebridge is the sunroom in the units. It makes for a great reading spot, or just a nice place to relax and take in the views!
Model C:
This floor plan seems to also be a very popular one. When walking in the front door it will open straight into the living room and you will see the dry bar, the kitchen with an island, breakfast area, and sunroom all within view. If you like a nice open floor plan then this could be the plan for you! The two guest bedrooms are just off the the living room and the Master is down the hall on the opposite side of the condo, giving this floor plan a nice split floor plan as well! The master closet is a spacious walk-in, and the garage in this floor plan also has the stairs that lead up to a spot above the garage that can be used for extra storage and maybe even finished out depending on what your builder/contractor says!
